जीवन सूत्र (Jeevan Sutra)

क्वचिद्धर्म क्वचिन्मैत्री क्वचिदर्थः क्वचिद्यशः ।
कर्माभ्यासः क्वचिच्चेति नास्ति निष्फला ।। { सुभाषित }

चिकित्सा (वैद्य-जीविका) कभी निष्फल नहीं होती । कहीं इससे धर्म का अर्जन होता है, कहीं इससे मित्रता की प्राप्ति होती है, कहीं इससे धन की प्राप्ति होती है, कहीं इससे यश प्राप्त होता है, और इन सबके साथ-साथ चिकित्सा का अभ्यास भी स्वतः ही होता रहता है ।

Treatment of diseases (Medical profession) is never fruitless. Sometimes it earns Dharma, sometimes it earns friendship of people, sometimes it earns money, sometimes it earns goodwill and fame and along these one gets to practice and increment his knowledge and expertise. { Subhaashit }
