अधिक परिचय होने से अवज्ञा होती है और किसी के यहाँ निरंतर जाने से अनादर होता है । संसार में देखने में आता है की प्रयाग-वासी प्रायः (गंगा यमुना जैसी पवित्र नदियों को छोड़कर) कुँए में स्नान करते हैं ।
